Faux Silk Drapery Panels
- Sometimes called Art Silk, faux silk is a artificial silk or “false silk” is usually made up by polyester fibers like viscose, mercerized cotton, or rayon.
- Also known as Soft Veiling, this fabric has a larger weave than Fine Diamond Veiling and produces a more draped effect.

2010.06.26 FAUX SILK SHELLS SMALL
This is my first attempt at the Faux Silk technique (there’s a video from Papertrey Ink on the technique, I don’t think I can link it from here). I used Hero Arts Antique Engravings shell, randomly stamping it in Dried Marigold. The ribbon is American Crafts, and the card stock is SU kraft.
